Case: Veneer composites were placed on plaintiff’s four upper front teeth for esthetics. Plaintiff complained of discomfort, headaches and diffuse face pain. Defendant ground down plaintiff’s teeth six times over the next year in an attempt to correct her bite. Plaintiff further suffered from TMJ as a result of defendant’s negligence. Case: Placement by defendant dentist of six upper and six lower anterior veneers. Excessive grinding of anterior teeth for veneer placement results in devitalization of nerves in teeth, sensitivity to temperature, chewing and breathing problems.
